Author Guidelines
Contemporary Perspectives on Business and Management (CPBO) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing rigorous research across business, management, economics, and the social sciences. These guidelines provide authors with the principal requirements for preparing and submitting manuscripts and explain the main stages of the publication process.
Authors should read these guidelines together with the journal's Aims & Scope, Article Types, Peer Review, Publication Ethics, Open Access & Copyright, and Article Processing Charges (APC) policies. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's basic requirements may be returned to authors before peer review.
The Author Journey
- Check suitability - Confirm that the manuscript falls within the Journal's Aims & Scope and Subject Coverage.
- Prepare the Manuscript - Follow the journal’s formatting, referencing, tables, figures, and submission requirements. All references should be prepared according to APA style.
- Complete ethical declarations - Provide authorship, funding, competing-interest, data-availability, and other required statements.
- Submit online - Complete the submission requirements and provide all required files and information. (You may also submit as email attachment on cpbo@hspublishing.org)
- Editorial assessment and peer review - Suitable manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by qualified reviewers.
- Revise where required - Respond carefully and transparently to reviewer and editorial comments.
- Comply - Authors are subjected to comply with the individualized instructions communicated in email correspondence. `
- Publication - The final article is published online and made available through the journal's online-first feature.
- Online-First -Through online-first feature, the article can be published and made available online within 5 working days after conpletion of publication process. DOIs are also assigned and can be cited. Later, article is made the part of upcoming issue.

Ethics and Disclosures
Contemporary Perspective on Business and Management (CPBO) is committed to research integrity, responsible authorship, ethical research conduct, transparency, and the protection of the scholarly record. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions comply with applicable ethical, legal, institutional, and professional requirements.
The journal expects authors to provide the required declarations where needed and to disclose relevant information concerning authorship, funding, competing interests, research ethics, data availability, originality, and the use of artificial intelligence.
Authorship and Contributor Roles
Authorship should reflect a substantial intellectual contribution to the research and manuscript. All listed authors should have contributed meaningfully to the work, participated in its preparation or critical revision, approved the final version, and accepted responsibility for the integrity of the work.
Contributors who do not meet the requirements for authorship should be acknowledged appropriately.
Research Ethics
Research involving human participants, personal information, organizations, communities, or other potentially sensitive subjects should comply with applicable ethical and legal requirements.
Where institutional or independent ethics approval is required, authors should identify the approving body and provide the relevant approval or reference number. Where approval was not required, authors should explain the basis for that determination where appropriate.
Authors should obtain appropriate informed consent when research involves identifiable participants or information. Particular care should be taken when working with vulnerable populations, sensitive personal information, or research settings in which participation or disclosure could create risks for individuals or organizations.
