Abstract

This paper showcases the creation of AI-powered smart glasses that will help people with visual impairments navigate their environment more independently and safely. The eyewear's incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI) enables real-time object identification, facial recognition, and spatial awareness to help users navigate both indoor and outdoor areas. These smart glasses can identify obstacles, recognize text, and even provide audible signals for navigation by utilizing sophisticated sensors like ultrasonic, depth, and infrared sensors in conjunction with AI algorithms. The system is a flexible tool for enhancing everyday life since it incorporates voice assistants to provide smooth communication and tailored advice. This creative approach seeks to improve mobility, lessen reliance on conventional assistive technology, and raise the standard of living for those with visual impairments.
