Publication Process
Submission
The process starts with submission of a new article on the journal website. There are 2 ways to submit an article:
- Submit Online
- Email Submission
Online Submission: Register on the journal website as "author" and complete the registration. After registration, an online submission button will appear. Click it and follow the instructions.
Email Submission: Send your article as a single MS Word file to assm@hspublishing.org. The editorial team will register and upload it on your behalf.
Note: Authors do not have to follow a particular formatting template. Layout editors will handle formatting at publication.
Preliminary Review
Submitted articles undergo a preliminary review by the editorial staff. They check suitability and language quality with respect to the journal’s scope. Articles are then sent to expert reviewers for comprehensive evaluation.
Peer Review
The journal uses a double-blind review system, ensuring anonymity of both authors and reviewers. A maximum of two experts evaluate each article. The process usually takes up to two weeks.
Editorial Decision
Decisions are communicated via email and can be:
- Accepted as it is
- Accepted with revisions
- Rejected
If revisions are required or the article is rejected, reviewer comments are shared with authors in a report.
Article Processing Charges
Upon acceptance, authors must pay an article processing charge covering formatting and hosting costs. Currently, the publication fee is £174.99 (Pounds Sterling).
Publication
Within 5 working days after payment confirmation, the article’s PDF version is published on the journal website and made available for free download.
